deathrune One of the most promising BM acts in Australia at the moment. Reminds of me a lot of the demo tapes and more obscure acts coming out of Europe at the tail end of the 90's and early 2000's, mixed with a native flavour perhaps comparable to some early DTL recordings. Both demos certainly deserve wider recognition, hopefully by means of an (accessible) vinyl release. Favorite track: Halls of Entropic Void.
Gata Vrangr

Gata Vrangr The perfect sequel to the first demo. It sounds a bit different but it builds on what was already good in the first one and makes it even better. Hoping to hear a full album one day. Favorite track: The Birth of Phobos.
Kaptain Carbon

Kaptain Carbon In recent memory this release is perhaps the one that least fits into the idea of dungeon synth. this is also why it is wonderful. With a tag of “astral depression,” Celestial Congregation combines the worlds of atmospheric black, depressive black, dungeon synth, and dark ambient into a record that defies expectations since there was no one dreaming of this in the first place. Favorite track: Halls of Entropic Void.
Mark Southworth

Mark Southworth great follow up to his first demo! Favorite track: Halls of Entropic Void.
Ancient Cult
Ancient Cult thumbnail
Ancient Cult This is a great step up to their previous Demo. Here, the band focuses in a more malancholic and depressive Astral/Cosmic Raw Black Metal style, mantaining good Dungeon Synth passages. Really touching melodies and atmosphere. A deep and profound cosmic nihilist travel. Favorite track: At The Bridge of Cosmic Gods.
The Metalsquad
The Metalsquad thumbnail

Favorite track: At The Bridge of Cosmic Gods.
